Food and Friends

Today is June 27th

What I have learned from my friend Dave:

Dave: Has made a real effort to improve his health.  He carefully thinks about all areas of life.

Lesson: Be a detective and think about how food affects your body.

Dave has taught me to slow down, to be careful what I say and to be a thinker.   I have not mastered these things (obviously), but I am improving.  On the flip side, Dave has listened to nutrition advice and has made great strides. No one is perfect and all we can do is keep trying. Change takes time and energy. One way to help ourselves is to keep good records and remember how foods make us feel after we eat.  It also helps to decrease all portions.

Take Action Today:

Think things over and listen what others are saying.

Keep trying to make hard changes.

Write down the foods that don’t make you feel well and avoid them.
